Carr has represented clients before the general trial courts in most of Ohio's eighty-eight counties, before most of Ohio’s twelve district courts of appeal, and before the Supreme Court of Ohio. He also represents clients in federal court at the trial and appellate court levels.

Adam E. Carr is board-certified in civil trial advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA).  Both the American Bar Association and the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission On Certification Of Attorneys As Specialists have accredited the NBTA to certify lawyers as specialists.  The U.S. Supreme Court has also noted the NBTA’s rigorous standards for certification.  Peel v. Adam E. Carr Adam E. Carr contributed three chapters to the leading treatise on Ohio tort law, entitled Baldwin's Ohio Practice Series: Tort Law. The book is designed to assist Ohio lawyers and judges with answers to practical questions. Subjects discussed by Adam E. Carr include recent Ohio tort reform legislation, recklessness, intentional torts, and insurance coverage. The book is updated annually and published by Thomson Reuters, the parent of Westlaw.
